A dozen pre-school children with Down’s Syndrome walked from Beaconsfield to High Wycombe in a bid to smash last year’s fundraising total of £5000 for Sparkles.
The walk, part of Down’s Syndrome Awareness Week, started at 10am on a rainy Saturday outside Waitrose in Beaconsfield and it finished nearly 7 miles later in the Eden Centre in High Wycombe. Despite the rain the event was great fun and well attended.
